Up for sale is my Vintage Sears Kenmore Sewing Machine Model 158.1400
I inherited this from my mother, and I don't do any sewing. This unit has been in my family since the mid-1960's when it was purchased new. Other than a few test runs, it has never seen any use. It has been maintained and serviced over the years to keep it in good shape. It runs perfectly, and has no issues.
I have the original manual with all receipts, as well as the button hole gauge accessory that came with it and the latching cover case.
Also included are the table that was made for it, as well as extra needles, 3 colors of thread, lubricating oil, clapper, seam roller, seam ripper, stylus/awl, marking pencil, cleaning brush, and small ironing board. I will also include the magnifying lamp shown in the photo. This is everything you'd need to start sewing TODAY.
This sewing machine is known to be a workhorse with it's all metal gear construction. You simply won't find a nicer unit.
