Bob Rohm Framed Landscape Oil Painting Collection - $975 (North Boulder)

condition: excellent
Up for sale are three beautiful oil paintings by Bob Rohm, purchased from the artist in the 90s. Asking $975 for the collection but am very open to offers / trades.

Robert "Bob" Rohm (American, b. 1948). Oil on board, ca. 1990s. Signed on the lower right. A large-scale painting of a pair of charming country cottages behind a picket fence that is lined with beautiful blooming wildflowers of scarlet hues which match the red roofs of those cozy homes which are otherwise painted a pristine white with cornflower blue trim. Rohm's painterly style announces its presence in his rendering of the verdant foliage and tree canopies; lively brushstrokes and palette knife work imbue the painting with undeniable liveliness. Size: 24.125" L x 32" W (61.3 cm x 81.3 cm) Size of frame: 26.875" L x 34.7" W (68.3 cm x 88.1 cm)

Robert "Bob" Rohm (American, b. 1948). "Mountain Hideaway" oil on canvas, ca. 1990s. Signed on the lower left. Who can resist a picturesque mountain hideaway? In this painting, American artist Bob Rohm tempts us with lush, forest-lined trails and blue ridge mountains beyond. Rohm's intent was clearly not to delineate every last detail of this scenic spot in an exhaustive manner but rather to poetically illuminate the landscape in his Impressionist painterly style. In the artist's words, "Poetry in the landscape means to impart a feeling for a scene rather than just to illustrate it—to engage the viewer's imagination." A beautiful landscape that embodies Bob Rohm's poetic approach! Size of painting: 16.25" L x 20.125" W (41.3 cm x 51.1 cm) Size of frame: 21.4" L x 25.5" W (54.4 cm x 64.8 cm)

Robert "Bob" Rohm (American, b. 1948). "Ingram River" oil on board, ca. 1990s. Signed on the lower right. A serene view of a river flanked by lush groves of trees in Ingram, Texas by American artist Bob Rohm. The teeming tree canopies flourish with vibrant green leaves as well as autumnal red leaves. Their beauty is mirrored in elegant reflections projecting from the shimmering waters below. Rohm's intent was clearly not to delineate every last detail of this scenic spot in an exhaustive manner but rather to poetically illuminate the landscape in his impressionist style. In the artist's words, "Poetry in the landscape means to impart a feeling for a scene rather than just to illustrate it—to engage the viewer's imagination." A beautiful landscape that embodies Bob Rohm's poetic approach! Size of painting: 13.875" L x 19.875" W (35.2 cm x 50.5 cm) Size of frame: 17.875" L x 23.875" W (45.4 cm x 60.6 cm)
