Exquisite Afghan handicraft pieces - $50 (Longmont)

These are traditional Suzani handicrafts (large hand embroidered textiles) made by Lakai Uzbeks. The ornate hangings with beautiful cross stitch and/or colorful geometric motifs are used as decorative home decor in doorways and as furniture coverings.
Bought in Pakistan in 1988. Stored. Excellent condition.
