This ornately sculpted pair of heavy brass candle sconces are from the early 1900s. Originally designed for real candles, they were wired and converted in the 1950s to an electric candle representative that accepts small bulbs. We used these in the entry foyer, but they would also work in a bathroom, bedroom, or another area where accent lighting is desired. The style is suitable for craftsman, art deco, rustic, mid-century modern, colonial or eclectic decor. They come complete with mounting screws and wire connections. The finish is not perfect, as there are a few specks of wear, but they can be retouched with brass spray if more interested in appearance than antiquity. At 100+ years old, these sconces are a great addition to many styles.
We had an ornate oval mirror that matched the finish of the sconces. If you want to complement your sconces for entry or bathroom, the mirror is also available for $50. I'd be happy to show that if you visit to see the sconces.
