Key Features and Specifications
* Expandable: This is a 2-place intercom, but can be expanded to 4 or 6 positions using the AC-2XM module.
* Power Source: Runs on two 9V batteries, or via 12-28V DC aircraft power. Adapter not included. The unit automatically switches to battery backup if external power is lost.
* Modes & Controls:
* ISO (Isolate): Switches the pilot's headset/mic to ATC only.
* ALL: Allows the pilot, co-pilot, and passengers to communicate.
* Pilot Priority PTT: Dedicated front-panel push-to-talk button that gives the pilot transmission priority.
* Audio Integration: Includes a 3.5mm music-in jack for audio/phone and a record-out jack to save cockpit conversations or ATC transmissions to an external recorder.
* Safety Features: Built-in fail-safe circuit ensures direct connection to the aircraft radio if the intercom loses power. A two-stage LED flashes yellow during radio transmission, making "stuck mic" incidents easy to spot.
* Headset Compatibility: Integrated circuitry supports both mono and stereo aviation headsets.
