Both are in excellent condition. The mattress has always been used with a mattress protector, so it's spotless clean. No pets have been in the house.
The bed is adjustable - it can be placed such that mattress is on the floor for little kids, and then flipped higher when they're bigger. It goes together without tools; it's a easy puzzle to put together.
