This dispensary includes a set of shelves custom built to hold 128 half gallon canning jars (see dimensions below), 106 half gallon jars with labels currently on them are included with some herbs in them, and backup stock of herbs (some on the shelves and some not). I am a Chinese medicine practitioner, so the herbs are from the Materia Medica of Dan Bensky and are used in Chinese herbal formulas. Some cross over with herbs also used in Western herbalism practices. I can send a complete list of herbs on the shelves and in the back up stock. Some full gallon jars are included as well which can be stacked on top of shelves or next to them. All herbs were ordered from Spring Wind herbs and Premium and Organic were ordered whenever possible. Most are purchased within the last few years, some are older, but have been stored very cool and dry and are in good shape. All shelves and outside of jars were recently cleaned. The jars alone are worth over $400.

I have found this method of storage and dispensing to be economical on space and save time in looking for herbs (alphabetized and in a smaller square foot area of space). The advantages of working with whole herbs is customized formulas and the ability to make your own teas, tinctures, liniments, and capsules.

We can help load and may be able to deliver for an extra fee. Jars are cleaned and packed into boxes ready for loading prior to your arrival.
