2001 Schwinn Homegrown Comp – the last year with CNC machined parts. The 17” N’Lightened Aluminum frame weighs just 3.4 pounds and features a replaceable derailleur hanger (spare included!). Shimano Deore front and rear derailleurs on a 3x9 drivetrain (22/44 front, 11/34 rear). Shifters are also Shimano Deore (front shifter is temperamental). Brakes have been upgraded to Shimano hydraulic discs. Handlebars have been cut down to just 21” wide for maneuverability and ease of transport / storage. The original Rock Shock Judy Race fork is included; a Manitou R-Seven Elite is currently installed. Wheels are Sun Rims Rhyno Lite on Shimano Hubs with Continental Crossking 26 x 2.2 tires. A Cateye wireless computer is included. Cash only.
