We bought these bikes with the intention of keeping them, but while on our bike rack we drove through a terrible rain storm. The white Fold X began cutting out and the motor began to make a grinding sound, so I replaced the 500 watt hub motor with a 750 watt motor. It worked great for awhile and then began cutting out again. Im not sure if it's the controller or the way I wired the new motor. The black bike has been making the grinding sounds, but is not cutting out. These issues are beyond my electrical skills so we are selling the two bikes as a project for someone more knowledgable.
