My early research led me to believe this was a rebadged Fuji Absolute, which was one of the top touring bikes of the day. After getting it assembled the geometry is actually closer to race geometry. Very tight, quick/intuitive handling & pretty steep gearing. Running late on your commute? Drop the hammer! The comfy Selle Anitomica R1 saddle will give you maintenance free comfort. The 57cm frame with 55.5cm top tube fits me great at 6' tall & will work for you if within a couple inches either way.
It was suggested in an old bike forum that I frequent that this bike may be more special than I thought from my brief research. I've done the hard part to mechanically bring this back to life & gave everything a deep clean, polish & protected it to keep it looking as good as possible for a long time. It rides beautifully!! You can do more research while recovering from the last ride on it & gain more appreciation!
Price now of $700obo, cash, in person. (Down from $750) It may actually be worth more. More research needed. Comes with original bar end shifters, brakes, levers & seat post. Please reply like a decent human that would appreciate a very unique, vintage bicycle and include a number to contact you. I don't have much tolerance for dishonest, creepy types. I happy to answer any questions if I'm able! I have waaaaay too many bicycles and no dog so it's time to start turning loose of some great historic bikes & let others enjoy them!!!
