This is a great bike for around town, gravel trails, and a taste of more serious mountain biking. Our daughter used it during her tween years, and Dick's lists it (at $250) as fitting riders 5'0" - 5'5". It has a Shimano 21-speed (3 x 7) drivetrain, strong linear pull brakes, durable steel frame, and a suspension fork. It has a few scuffs here and there, but overall it looks good and everything works properly and smoothly.
