1989 Schwinn Paramount – hand built in the (former Schwinn) Waterford, WI factory with beautiful lugged Columbus tubing. The paint was one of 4 custom options from the Paramount Custom Paint program. Screen shot of the catalog can be found on-line and in the attached pics. When I bought the bike, it had a mix of old Campy and Dura Ace parts, it now sports a full Dura Ace 7800 group set but kept the classic vintage Campy QR’s. Bike is light and rides amazingly smooth. There is a paint spot on the top tube, see pic. It was there when I bought it and have been afraid to try and remove it. It looks like you can still see the frame paint through it.
