Vivacity 20 Sailboat with dual/bilge keels (can sail in 2.5 feet of water!)
This has been a super awesome sailboat to learn how to sail, and camp on too! Because she has two shallow draft side by side keels, she is super easy to sail. You can also sail up to the beach and throw the anchor out at 2.5 feet depth, and step off the stern and easily wade to shore.
There are several Vivacity 20's around the world including Australia, Canada, and Great Britain. Built at Leigh-On-The-Sea England. Boat was designed for it to be stable when the tide goes out, because the boat sits happily on it's two keels. (like old fashioned ice skates with two blades side by side.)
Sails excellent in all winds because it has a roller furling boom, where you can roll up the main to give you as much, or as little sail area as you need given whatever wind you have. (it has a hand crank that turns the gearing embedded in the boom which allows you to easily tighten the main sail halyard at whatever height you want the main sail.) This eliminates any need for Lazy-Jack lines or for having to tie down the main when you put it away or reefing... because the whole main sail just rolls up around the boom. It has a hank on Genoa (135%) foresail.

It has a V berth which can sleep two adults, as well as separate port and starboard berths which extend aft under the cockpit.

Dual axle Aluminum trailer with 6 foot long benches on both side, which allow you to easily step up to access the boat when it is on the trailer. Trailer also has an 8 foot tongue which conveniently disappears as it slides all the way back (out of the way) in a square channel recessed under the boat. Also slides out to allow you to easily back the trailer deeper into the water, keeping your vehicle dry. Needs about 3 feet of depth to float the boat off/on the trailer.
Trailer also has a spare tire mounted onto it.

PHRF rating for the Vivacity 20 is 300. (If you are going to race it, note that it is super easy to sail, and also a great first boat to learn on.) Took 1st place in PHRF Open Class, Cherry Creek Reservoir (about 10 years ago).

Boat weighs 2000 lbs.
I have trailer sailed this boat in Lake Powell-Bull Frog, Lake McConnaughy NE, Dillon CO, Boyd Lake CO, Chatfield CO, Cherry Creek CO, Granby CO.

No Outboard. I recommend around 5 -7 hp an electric Minnkota 80lb thrust would also work well.

Has mast raising gin pole to make it easy to raise the mast in remote locations.

Local Pick up only.
Cash Only
Trailer has current registration and title.
Boat is registered in Colorado.
