Old school LED bike light w both helmet and handlebar mounts. Hi output is 700 lumens (2.5 hr run time), low is 175 (10 hour). Runs off a separate lithium ion battery pack. Before posting this ad I fully charged the battery (as shown by the green light on the charger picture), then turned it on its Hi setting and ran it until it gave me a low power signal, which occurred at 2 hrs 15 minutes of run time. Also, I placed the light head in the path of a window fan to keep cool during the rundown test.
Light & Motion began by making dive lights and lighting for the movie industry. They branched into bike lights and were the setup to have at the 24 hour races 25 years ago. They were committed to American manufacturing and made all their lights in Monterey, California up until they closed in 2025.
Spares may be hard to find for this light moving forward, not gonna lie, but as of now it works fine. I am sure that someone smarter than me can figure out how to make another battery work on this if/when its current pack finally gives out. In the meantime, this will make an awesome night riding light or commuting light.
