We are a growing earthwork and underground utility contractor serving the Colorado Front Range. We specialize in commercial site development, including excavation, grading, underground utilities, and civil infrastructure.
We are a small company that is beginning to scale rapidly and are looking for the right person to grow with us. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction management.
Position Overview
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to learn every aspect of the business. The right candidate will work alongside experienced leadership and field personnel to develop into a Project Manager and Estimator.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with project management from start to finish
* Preparing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
* Soliciting and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
* Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
* Managing project documentation and submittals
* Tracking schedules, RFIs, change orders, and project budgets
* Coordinating with field crews, suppliers, engineers, and customers
* Performing occasional job site visits
Qualifications
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings (or willingness to learn)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
* Detail-oriented and eager to learn
* Valid driver’s license
Previous construction, civil engineering, or estimating experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
