I am selling nearly all of my personal comic book collection, which I started as a kid in the mid 1960's. There are 4 comic storage boxes, with approx. 80 comics or magazines each. All are on acid free backing boards with acid free poly bags. I have graded them all using Overstreet Price Guide and CGC criteria as a guide. I think I'm pretty accurate, and try to grade conservatively low, but there is always room for friendly 2nd opinions.
There are no high demand, "key", or expensive comics in here. There are NO Marvel titles, sorry. There is less than one box of DC comics, consisting of misc. offshoot Batman titles (Robin, Gotham Nights, etc.), but no actual Batman or Detective titles. There are a few newer Superman, and many older misc. 1950's - 60's DC comics such as Bob Hope, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Scooter, etc.
There is one entire box of Little Lulu and Tubby, also from 40's - 60's. One full box of older Humor comics such as Andy Panda, Bugs Bunny, Felix, Looney Tunes, Peanuts, Walter Lantz.
One full box of Mad Magazines, mostly special editions from 1960's-70's. A few dozen assorted magazines such as Monster World #1, Famous Monsters #1 and #3 (with no covers), James Bond, etc. Please note: These magazines and a few hardbound graphic novels are at 35% off book price, not 50% off like the comics.
All comics have been graded (by me) and priced per latest edition of Overstreet Price Guide, but I am discounting the price by 50% on (almost) every purchase.
I do not have any lists made, but feel free to contact me if there is something you are searching for. I've got these on a table and accessible, please contact me to set up a time to meet. I'm available most days from 9am - 6pm.
I've heard from a couple probable scams so far about buying this entire collection. I do not intend to do that, as I would rather sell to bonafide comic collectors.
