... a brand new built/rebuilt 2100cc, dual Webber carbs, pancake motor, with at least twice the horsepower of a normal 1973 vw 1700cc upright motor...
... you can pass cars while going uphill... ... in a VW bus!!!
...
... also new rebuilt transaxle, axles, brakes, tires, etc etc
... and new seat upholstery and foam
:)
This bus has zero rust... ... never had any
It's in epoxy primer, ready for final prep and paint...
... windows are all out of it but come with it...
... but you can test drive it with sunglasses on ;)
Very solid bus with mechanicals done, solid body ready for paint, and front seat upholstery done
My dad put $8,500 just in the engine, plus much more in the rebuilt trans, axles, brakes, tires, some steering and suspension, epoxy primer, upholstery and foam, and buying an original rust free bus, he must have over $15,000 to $18,000 into this bus easily...
... but he passed, and it's mine now (clean Colorado title in my name) and I wouldn't be able to get to it for a long time...
... so, it's for sale at a very fair price
:)
Just a little more work and you'll have a $20,000 to $30,000 bus that reliably drives better, stronger, and faster than any bus you've ever driven
