I bought this brand new from Listen Up back in the day. Everything it offers works perfectly. Never dropped or damaged in any way.
It is solid, built like a tank, weighing about 26 pounds.
But what's important--the only thing that's important--is how it sounds.
I can't convey that here.
But here is a review found online:
"Even though I've owned other high end cd players, the last 8 years owning and constantly listening to my very large collection of audiophile music, I'm still as blown away by the incredibly warm and astonishing detail this unit makes without the slightest bit of distortion or noise of any kind. Friends of mine who own $50,000 music systems are in awe of the AR 1650. For the money, I've never seen any thing close."
Comes with original remote. I could include a good inter-connect cable if you'd like.
