We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities who can provide our clients with an exceptional dining experience. We need a competent and experienced line cook who can ensure that our meals are made precisely to guest orders while still following our standard recipes consistently. To work a variety of stations on any given shift, our line cook must be adept in poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with other kitchen staff to keep things running efficiently. Responsibilities
============
1. Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators organized, clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules
2. Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to meet recipes and presentation guidelines
3. Work on pantry, grill, fry, roast and sauté stations
4. Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served
5. Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift
6. Follow the prep lists created by chef
7. Label all ingredients and store them in proper containers so they can be organized and are easily accessible
8. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
9. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
10. Work early mornings, weekends and nights
11. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned


Qualifications
==========
1. Minimum 5 years line cooking experience
2. Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
3. Must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
4. Must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
5. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
6. Must take direction well with a positive attitude and must have a great work ethic
