"Ettore "Ted" DeGrazia -DeGrazia Native American Navajo Child Prints Artist: Ettore “Ted” DeGrazia: Ettore (Ted) DeGrazia was born in 1909 to Italian immigrants in the small mining camp of Morenci in Territorial Arizona. His playmates were Native American children from the nearby Apache Indian reservation. He died in 1998. He studied with Diego Rivera and Jose Orozco. Ted DeGrazia became one of Arizona's most prominent painters, illustrators, and graphic artists, resulting in his studio gallery being listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
