Vintage Tell City solid maple 2-person rocking loveseat in classic Early American style (Pattern 8252, #48 Andover finish). Made by the Tell City Chair Company, known for high-quality American-made solid wood furniture.
Features solid maple construction, turned spindle arms/back, removable tufted seat and back cushions, original fitted skirt, and smooth steel spring rocking mechanism. Upholstery has a classic blue-and-cream geometric pattern with a warm farmhouse/cottage look.
Structurally very solid and fully functional. Rocking mechanism works smoothly, and the under-seat support webbing is in excellent condition with firm support and no sagging. Wood frame is sturdy throughout.
Condition is vintage and shows normal cosmetic wear from age/use, including some finish wear and small scuffs on the wood arms/posts (pictured). Upholstery is clean overall with light age-related wear consistent with vintage furniture. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.
Great as-is for cottage, cabin, farmhouse, colonial, or traditional interiors, or an excellent candidate for reupholstery if desired.
