Please review the website to see cost of lamps, this lamp is no longer made, and it is a collector, it was originally $400. The lamp comes with a dimmer switch, and when it is not on, it has a beautiful rainbow, glass that causes light prisms of geometric shadows the environment around it. When it is on, it illuminate the walls around you with geometric rainbow effect. It is a truly beautiful and magical lamp, and has such a peaceful energy. The lamp itself is very lightweight, it comes with an on and off switch cord, and a dimmer switch. It is a beautiful art piece sitting on the table off or on. I recommend handling it lightly, there is one peg missing in the 3-D assembly. It is decently durable but is designed to easily disassemble and put back together like a 3-D puzzle. If you would like this lamp to be more durable, I would suggest gluing the pieces together.
