Gorgeous Golran Carpet Reloaded rug from their Decolorized Patchwork Vintage collection — a designer piece, not mass-produced. Each one is hand-cut and reassembled from genuine vintage hand-knotted wool carpets, then decolorized and re-dyed in soft monochromatic tones. No two are alike.
Pulled from a high-end home in the mountains — see photo of it in dining room.
This piece has a soft taupe/greige palette with subtle ghosted pattern fragments showing through in places — the faded medallions and border details from the original vintage carpets it was made from. That worn-in, archival look is intentional to the design, not damage.

Material: hand-knotted wool, cotton backing
Construction: patchwork-assembled vintage panels, whip-stitched seams
Condition notes, disclosed for transparency: Recently cleaned. Light fraying along a couple of seam edges (visible in photos), and a small puncture in the cotton backing fabric on the underside only — does not show through to the face of the rug and doesn't affect how it lays.
