Dental Assistant (Boulder)

Your primary role is to provide exceptional patient care, while educating patients on the oral systemic links. Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner
Assist the doctor and/or hygienist(s), with dental procedures
Take, develop and “mount” accurate, high quality radiographs
Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival, document appropriate patient information and health history during the exam and treatment
Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, per OSHA and office guidelines, prior to and after a patient’s appointment
Administer Nitrous Oxide
Coronal Polishing
Apply topical agents
Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow
Provide denture maintenance
Assist in educating the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable
Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient
Partner with the doctors, hygienists, and team to maintain excellent patient service and integrity

Education/Certification:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
Current radiography certification required
Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR- BLS) preferred
Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred as required by state, or ability to become certified
