Reports To: Resident Service Director and/or Administrator

SHO provides a person-centered environment for older adults and persons with disabilities. Key Duties Include:

• Dry heat and steam cooking methods
• Sanitation of kitchen areas and prepping meals
• Stocking kitchen items
• Tracking waste
• Cleaning duties

Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. comfortably
• Comfortable using and climbing on step stools
• Certain activities may require repetitive movements including climbing, crawling, crouching, pulling, pushing
• Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays. May be called during off hours to respond to emergency or unusual situations

Education and Experience:

• Read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook

Candidates May Have To:

• Submit to background screen
• Submit to a TB skin test, Hep B vaccination, and/or flu shot

Expected Hours of Work:

Variable hours are available and will be discussed at the time of interview.
