Heattrak snowmelting stair mats (six) - $200 (south Boulder)

Selling because on my stairs during the 0º - 5º storm, in addition to melting the snow, the mats also generated the ice "fingers" pictured on the stairs' leading edges. This is intolerable for me so I'm doing away with treating the steps and using the balance of the system I bought up top on the deck. YMMV depending upon your particulars.
Also included is special fiberglass woven cable loom that protects the wiring from squirrels (the idea is that the fiberglass immediately irritates their gums). This is costly loom ($6/ft, in 10' rolls) that should work (impregnated plastics will not work).
$200 is 1/3 price not including the squirrel-guard cable loom and labor.
