**Again, need someone who is open to both day shift AND night shift. Shifts can rotate from time to time, so need someone who is open to working the day shift AND the night shift**


Title: Materials Specialist/Handler
Pay Rate: $15/hr for 1st shift & $16.50/hr for 3rd shift
Location: Boulder, Colorado
Start Date: ASAP

Perks:
Overtime (48 hours) every other week. Overtime pay is time and a half.

Work Schedule:
12 hours shifts
1st/Day Shift: 6:30am-6:30pm
3rd/Night Shift: 6:30pm-6:30am
**Essentially working 15 days a month and you'll have 15 days off per month**


Summary:
Responsible for the loading of raw materials and intermediates for the manufacture of pharmaceutical chemicals and intermediates. Performs loading, pre-weighing, and moving of materials according to written manufacturing procedures and SOPs. Prepares equipment for maintenance. Hands-on operation of weighing and material movement equipment and material handling. Maintains a consistent high level of housekeeping. Displays initiative in completing assigned tasks and ability to think ahead to prepare for the next steps. Displays high level of attention to detail and executes all operations right the first time (RFT).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and comprehend safety rules, instructions in the use of maintenance of shop tools and equipment, and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
• Work closely with operators and material coordinators to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Demonstrates the ability to set up and perform loading operations properly and efficiently.
• Accurate documentation of operations following written procedures.
• Responsible for properly managing the generation and accumulation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and monitors plant environmental systems.

• Demonstrate progressive understanding of plant loading equipment.
• Activities may include structural demolition of buildings and equipment with focus on dismantling and salvage.

• Able to engage in all forms of physical labor necessary for the completion of construction/demolition projects to include awkward and repetitive manual tasks that could require forceful exertion.
• Required to wear basic PPE during work (hard hat, safety glasses, safety boots and uniform.) Required to wear full PPE (i.e., respiratory protection and chemical resistant garments, etc.) as necessary.

Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; low levels of toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; uncomfortable extremes of temperature, and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:
• Fork lift certification would be a plus.
