Residential Electrical Helper / Experienced Apprentice – Part Time
Dimension Electric LLC is looking for a reliable part-time electrical helper or experienced apprentice to assist with residential electrical work.
This position is best suited for someone who already has some electrical experience and understands the basics of residential work. Ideally, I am looking for someone with 3–5+ years of experience, but I am open to the right person if they are dependable, willing to learn, and can be useful on a job site.
Most of the work is residential electrical, including:
Panel upgrades
Service upgrades
EV charger circuits
Heat pump circuits
Heat pump water heater circuits
Dedicated appliance circuits
Troubleshooting
General residential wiring
Receptacles, switches, lighting, and small service work
All work is completed in accordance with applicable NEC code requirements. I am a Master Electrician with over 25 years of experience, and I take the time to teach apprentices and helpers the right way to do the work so they understand what they are doing, not just how to get it done.
I am mainly looking for someone to help jobs move faster and smoother. You will be working with me directly on most jobs. You will not be asked to do anything you are not comfortable doing or qualified to do without proper direction and supervision.
This is a part-time position, typically 20–25 hours per week. Most workdays are 4–6 hours, usually 4–5 days per week. More hours may be available depending on workload and your availability.
Most of the work is in Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, and surrounding areas.
What I am looking for:
3–5+ years of electrical experience preferred
Residential electrical experience preferred
Reliable transportation
Basic hand tools preferred
Able to follow directions and work safely
Good attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working in finished homes, garages, basements, attics, crawlspaces, and exterior service equipment
Able to show up on time and communicate clearly
Takes pride in clean, professional, code-compliant work
This could be a good fit for someone who wants steady part-time work, wants to continue learning from a licensed Master Electrician, and wants to be part of a small residential electrical company where the work is done the right way.
Looking to hire immediately.
