Exam Review Extraordinaire
I helped a student prepare for a Physics midterm and met for only 3 sessions the week of the exam. After the test, the student found out her grade and shared her great news:

I taught a CU-Boulder student Calc 3 because the professor & TAs were unable to present the material in an effective way. They met 3 times a week and she focused on deepening his understanding of the material by relating it to previous courses and to his major. The student excelled in that course and, the next semester, he came back for Differential Equations assistance. He performed so well in Differential Equations that he was contacted by the department to work as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the course.
