Here we have a 2008 Yamaha WR250X in Motard form in excellent condition both mechanically and visually, well maintained. For a number of years it has been quietly waiting under canvas in my enclosed garage filled with ethanol free gasoline and fuel stabilizer. If you have any familiarity with this model, you know of the advanced level of design and engineering that is incorporated into this very capable small displacement motorcycle. Practically every available performance enhancement has been made over the showroom model. Some of these are: aftermarket black color bodywork, custom racing style aggressive decals, Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust, Pro taper handlebars, custom LED front combination turn signals, hand guards and bark busters, two sets of rear view mirrors, Dyno-jet power commander fuel injection programmable engine module, low restriction intake, DRC special foot pegs, WCS textured aftermarket seat. Changed, this is a one of a kind motorcycle. What else? This particular model, dealers have said, can be easily transformed into an off road style vehicle. Should you like a more sedate look I have the original blue and white bodywork plastic panel and those are included. The only service outside of what is normal has been the replacement of the in-tank fuel pump.
