U Baron Group is a growing multi-million dollar family owned enterprise diversified in the food manufacturing and retailing industry. We own an Artisan Bakery in Louisville, a store front Artisan Bakery in the Denver Central Market, a Catering and food production facility in Denver and a restaurant group with several locations in the Denver metro area.

Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our facility located in Louisville, CO. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production efficiency, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. This position requires the individual to understand, troubleshoot and repair electrical and operational equipment.

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain bakery equipment both mechanical and electrically.
Must have a complete set of personal tools, electrical multi- meter, and tool box.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Makes recommendations for improvement and solving maintenance-related problems.
Preventative maintenance of bakery equipment from work orders and P.M. program.
Ability to troubleshoot 3 phase and motor control circuits.
Communicate parts inventory tracking based on usage to Plant Engineer.
Ability to follow company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety practices
Monitor machinery to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work area to be kept clean prior to shifts end.
Perform other duties as may be required and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience in a related technical field or certificate or diploma from trade school in related field or three years’ experience in the maintenance of industrial/food manufacturing equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Electrical experience is highly preferred. Prior experience with bakery processing equipment and ovens preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical systems.
Must be flexible and available to work 3rd shift, may include weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
Must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 lbs. assisted.
