I have an old classical guitar, electric guitar, travel guitar, kid's sized guitar, electric piano or ceramic flute to lend out for one or maybe two weeks in exchange for you donating to any non-profit organization that is helping protect our rivers, oceans, land and/or climate.
Instruments ::
+ Classical Aria guitar. Oldish, simple and has a nice mellow sound.
+ Banjo 5 string. A pretty decent sound though not an expensive banjo.
+ Red electric guitar. Sounds good and has three pickups. Make a bigger donation and deposit if you want to borrow a little 14 inch square amp too.
+ Steel string travel guitar. Made by Oscar Schmidt Washburn. Mahogany back and sides. Spruce laminate top probably. Bolt-on neck. This guitar was made for traveling and feels super sturdy. It seems heavy for such a little guitar. The wood is thicker and denser everywhere to make it tougher. It is not a good sounding guitar. Probably because it is small and made so strong. New strings would help the sound. The frets are great. The neck is flat. The action is highish at the octave. If you decide you want to buy that's an option.
+ Classical travel guitar. Little 30 inch small inexpensive simple nylon string Hohner guitar. It is a fair sounding guitar. The frets are fine. The neck is flat. The action is nice at the octave. Good for adults or kids. Sounds pretty darn good. If you decide you want to buy later tell me.
+ Violin fiddle. Needs a bridge. Sounds good.
+ Ceramic D flute. Sounds good.
+ Electric piano. Sounds good but a cheapo.
+ Crate amp. 14 inch tall.
I can lend a guitar or piano out for one or two weeks if a person is willing to make a contribution of 35 or more to any environmental organization or candidate that is fighting the climate change monster heatwaves, floods, storms, hurricanes, crop losses, and war.
I like having a deposit on the instrument that I will give back to you when you return it. The deposit depends on the instrument. For example I would like an $100 deposit on the classical guitar, the mini Washburn travel guitar or the flute.
You can make the donation via your phone or my computer when you come pick it up.
Most of the instruments were not expensive. I have had most of these instruments for years.
Another way to borrow one of these instruments is to post a comment on your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or social about a big environmental or climate action that you promise to take to help slow down the monster heatwaves, floods, storms, fires, inflation and conflict.
