This 1981 black hardtail Stratocaster with white pickguard is very, very clean! Also, it’s practically feather weight. It weighs in at only 7 lbs, 3 oz! It plays and sounds great. A quality hard shell case is included.
The big headstocks on these guitars are such a vibe! The hardtail bridge adds sustain and snap. It is all-original, except for the strap buttons. Typically guitars from this era are quite heavy, but this one weighs in at just 7 lbs, 3 oz!!! Overall it’s in beautiful condition & looks to have been lightly used.
Condition: For a 40 year old guitar it is in excellent condition. The guitar was just professionally cleaned up and set up with 10-gauge strings. There is some light buckle rash in the finish and minimal dings. The bridge has a lot of patina especially on the screws - everything is still fully adjustable. The black numbers and lettering on the knobs has turned green. Very minimal fret wear. Truss rod works perfectly. All electronics work as they should.
