Up for sale is a vintage Cavalier Alto Saxophone, manufactured by the Pan American division of C.G. Conn.
This is a classic American-made saxophone featuring the recognizable patent stamp (Sept. 14, 1915) and a low serial number (04464), which places its production around 1931.
Key Features:
Low Pitch (L): Stamped with an "L" for Low Pitch (A=440), meaning it is compatible with modern tuning and standard ensemble play.
Model "A": Denotes it is an Alto model.
Finish: Shows a beautiful aged patina. It appears to have the original silver plating (please see photos for areas of wear/tarnish).
Condition: The body is straight with no major dents.
Included:
Original case (fair condition)
All Star mouthpiece
Rico reeds + miscellaneous (see photo)
This is a fantastic piece for collectors or players looking for that warm, vintage Conn-style sound. Sold as-is due to its age.
