This is a reverse-engineered version of the “Little Martin” LX series. These make great travel guitars! The 23-inch scale length is easy for switching off from your full size guitars.
After 60 years the resins in the Scotch Pine sound board, made from a 1960s Cutty Sark crate have crystalized to produce a broad spectrum sound. The back and sides are made from long-aged salvaged oak with authentic rusty nail holes preserved by stabilizing with thin CA glue, then filled with clear epoxy. The neck is quarter-sawn poplar.
