If you’re looking at this, you know what it is and why it’s valuable. This is a 1965 Daphne Blue Fender Mustang. The nitro has faded into a seafoam green color over the decades. There is some light checking and a bit of missing nitro on the upper horn. Some belt buckle rash on the back. The fret board is a rare example of a slab board on a mustang, these were made at the tail end of December, 1965 and used on models after the CBS acquisition. As you can see, the neck is stamped Dec 65. All the electronics and switches work as they should. Everything on here is original except the bridge cover and the tremolo arm. It comes with its original salt and pepper case, but the case is missing the second spacer.
