This is a Mesa Engineering Express 5:25 10” speaker combo guitar amp in a relatively rare blond/tan covering, in excellent cosmetic and working condition, and with relatively low hours of use on the tubes. This amp allows you four modes (clean, blues, crunch and burn), two different amplification characteristics spread across two fully independent channels. Up front the “5” indicates the low power, single-ended pure Class A while the “25” refers to the rated push-pull output (i.e., Mesa’s so called Duo-Class power circuit). Each channel has its own Contour depth control for added shaping that’s both assignable and footswitchable. Handcrafted in Petaluma, California.

Features: : 1 power tube in pure Class A (single-ended) producing 5 Watts or switching to 2 power tubes in Class A/B to produce 25 Watts ( 2xEL-84 & 5x12AX7); Fixed Bias for consistent, maintenance free performance; 2 Fully Independent Channels with 4 Style Modes (Channel 1 = Clean or Crunch, Channel 2 = Blues or Burn) Independent Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Reverb, Master and Contour Controls per Channel; Footswitchable Variable Contour Control on each channel provides 5-band graphic EQ all from 1 rotary control; All-Tube, Long Spring Reverb; Fully Buffered FX Loop External Switching Jacks for Channel 1/2, Contour 1, Contour 2, Reverb.

Includes factory slip cover in excellent condition.

The origianal 3 Button 5 pin din Footswitch (Channel, Reverb & Contour) had been lost but a very solid and true to spec replacement footswitch from Switchdoctor is included with this sale.
