Full set of professional quality Scottish Highland bagpipes, played extensively by a family member for many years, stored in a high quality case in a climate controlled house for the last about 15 years. Our research indicates that these are likely vintage P. Henderson pipes. They are in very good condition with no visible cracks or damage to any part. The ferrules are nickel, the drone caps are imitation ivory, and the wood is African Blackwood. The pipes have a beautifully rich, full tone and the drones hold their tuning extremely well. The original chanter was replaced with a Naill and the original blow stick was replaced with an Airstream. The bag was recently re-seasoned by a local player but may still need to be replaced due to the years of storage. Also included is a navy blue bag cover and a fully lined, hard sided case in excellent condition.
