Let's see if things click. If you're in or near Longmont and want to get a cover band started, tell me 4-6 songs from your repertoire that you really enjoy playing and what instrument you play on each song. If half dozen repliers seem compatible, we all learn each other's picks, boom, we've already got 30 songs right of that bat. Very important, for this to work, once we commit, we all have the courtesy and work ethic to learn each other's songs before rehearsals. Depending on instruments, we'll likely need to rent a studio for rehearsals. For relatively quiet sessions we can play at my house. I have a PA for playing out when we're ready. More guitarists and bassists of course are welcome. I'm really hoping to hear from vocalists, percussionists, horn players, keyboard players and anything else too. I'll start:
Moondance/Bass
Stray Cat Strut or Rock this Town/Bass
The Chain/Acoustic Guitar
Rhiannon/Acoustic Guitar
Never Going Back/Acoustic Guitar
Solsbury Hill/Acoustic Guitar
Jolene/Acoustic Guitar
Sailing/Acoustic Guitar
Whammer Jammer/Harmonica
Ok, that's more than 6. We can always narrow things down once we know what we're dealing with.
I also have a telecaster and I'm not afraid to use it.
