I'm looking to hire somebody for a dual role of assistant/bookkeeper. My business, Green Thumb Accounting, provides bookkeeping & tax services, and I'm currently reorganizing my business to add business development to organizations involved with farming, sustainable agriculture, reforestation projects, and other do-good'ers looking to restore the planet.

The ideal candidate would already be involved with or at least aligned with these goals, and you would be supporting me while I support them with my accounting and business development skills.
While some accounting experience would be beneficial, I'm willing to train the right person for those tasks, and I prefer to find somebody who is more pro-active on the assistant side of things. Pay would be based on much experience you have and whether or not there will be training involved. This could also be beneficial if you're looking to start a business of your own or learn skills that will help you get work in other office settings.
