Job Description: Interior Design Showroom Sales Superstar

Proud House Studio is a full service interior design firm specializing in residential remodeling projects. We can handle part or all of your design needs from space planning, to construction documents and specifications. We manage projects from start to finish, integrating all aspects of the design process, in close collaboration with the contracted builder and client. We are looking for a driven, dynamic retail sales person who is enthusiastic about home design and has a genuine commitment to providing a brilliant customer experience.
You will be immersed in a fast paced and exciting customer-facing environment while developing a wide array of relationships. Including walk-in retail traffic, Interior Design & remodel clients as well as design product vendors, installers and contractors.

Independently open and close showroom by following daily checklists at the Owner's request, complete banking paperwork, adhere to timecard and security standards.
Maintain the showroom's organization and aesthetics by keeping it clean, stocked and tidy

Greet and assist retail and design clients in retail product selections and purchases while providing an exceptional shopping experience, as though our clients were guests in your own home. Facilitate client interest in the Interior Design/Remodel aspect of the showroom by sharing the "way we work philosophy/literature", Cabinet Sales Brochures and schedule design consultations with the design team as needed

Accurately and efficiently administer retail sales process to ensure accounting is completed correctly in the POS system, wrapping and bagging sold product elegantly for clients, gift wrap as needed

Support ongoing calendar of events and classes by assisting with planning, marketing, set up and clean up in the showroom

Assist in selecting retail product, inventory management, pricing, and merchandising
Manage retail inventory re-ordering and support Owner with new product sourcing and ordering

Position Requirements:

3+ years Retail sales experience, 1+ year in supervisory role
Experience with interior design, home building products and/or luxury home furnishings a plus
Superior communication and organization skills with excellent attention to detail
Take personal initiative in learning systems, products and retail product trend analysis and be dependable, punctual and adhere to agreed-upon schedule
Critical thinking; ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use merchandising installation tools, like hammer, drill, screwdriver, measuring tape, climb step ladders, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to follow company safety and security standards.


Requires standing/walking for long periods of time
Must have ability to safely lift minimum of 50 lbs without restrictions
