Looking for a quiet, comfortable spot with amazing Boulder views? We’re renting two lovely rooms in our 3,300 sf Heatherwood home in North Boulder that’s a quarter-mile from open space and trails:
The 3/4 bathroom on the lower floor may eventually share with another renter. Utility costs are shared among housemates (about $125 / person / month) and we employ a bi-monthly cleaning service for the common areas ($75 / person / month). Upfront cost: First month, deposit, last month. Street parking is always available in front of the house.
You will have use of the laundry facilities. You’ll also have access to a large shared living area and a covered outdoor patio that looks out toward the Flatirons, a perfect place for morning coffee or winding down after work, so there’s plenty of room to spread out. I have two single beds, if you want to use / have them. Downtown Boulder is 10 minutes via car, nearest bus stop via bike is 10 minutes.
Note that we (homeowner dad that works from home and son) have the shared areas well-stocked with furniture, kitchenware, couches, and other essentials. We have one friendly dog and that’s probably enough pets. We occasionally host relaxed dinner or game nights and enjoy having friends over, but we keep things mellow and value a restful home environment — ideally, you do too.
We’re all responsible for keeping shared spaces (kitchen, living room, dining area) clean. Lawn care and snow removal are team efforts and we also generally pitch in together for shared items like olive oil, soap, garbage bags, and paper towels.
