Hello! I’m searching for a female roommate (25+) with an independent, adaptable lifestyle who’s comfortable sharing a home where people genuinely live their lives. I’m 32 years old, and I currently bartend to pay the bills while working towards starting my post-grad career. I have a boyfriend and split many nights between my place and his. Additionally, I enjoy having friends over from time to time, so I’m hoping to find someone who’s okay with occasional late-night socializing and sometimes overnight guests on the living-room air mattress. The same courtesy absolutely extends to my tenant; friends and guests are always welcome. This is a 420 friendly house and nothing too crazy goes on but I want to be transparent.
I have a small dachshund who is crate-training, and another pet would be welcome if they are friendly and potty-trained, though I understand that accidents happen. I’m reluctant towards cats as this space lacks a non-communal area for a litter box, however I’m open minded. I also have two aquariums and space for more aquariums/terrariums if you have tank buddies.
Overall, I’m looking for a mature roommate who values mutual respect, flexibility, and open communication and is comfortable with a semi-social home. I tend to keep a tidy home, but sometimes life happens and things get left around, so I’m by no means rigid about messes, I just want communal areas to be comfortable and respected by everyone.
