We are two people trying to find two additional roommates to fill two garden-level rooms. The house is in a suburban neighborhood in North Boulder, located on a cul-de-sac with plenty of parking. It's a few minutes drive from the North Boulder downtown area, and a 10 minute drive from the Pearl Street area.There is easy access to hiking/biking trails.
House Details:
The house is two stories. It has a garage, balcony, and yard. The main floor consists of a living room, dining room, backyard deck access, kitchen, spare bedroom, and one tenant upstairs in the master suite. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of cabinet space for food/cookware storage. We have, and are happy to share cooking equipment. We also have 2 full size refrigerators (ones in the garage). Downstairs, in the garden-level basement, are the two rooms listed for rent. There’s a laundry room, a second communal living room, and a shared bathroom. The common spaces are fully furnished (tables, chairs, sofas, lighting, tv, etc.). The garage is half storage, but one side is open for parking.
Utilities/Rent:
Utilities (split 4 ways) have been ~$130/monthly per person, and a little less than that in the cooler months. The rent for each room would be $850.00 per month.
Timeline/Lease Length:
This lease would start on July 1st, or otherwise as soon as possible after July 1st. This listing is to meet the two current tenants that are staying. Afterwards, the four of us will apply for and sign a new lease with the property management company. The lease would be for one year. The management company is responsible, and they’re responsive to tenants and perform seasonal maintenance/safety checks on the house.
About us:
Kevin (37, M). Kevin is a harpist. He works part time from his home studio playing harp and part time at Resource Central. He mostly keeps to himself and keeps common spaces tidy when he uses them, but is happy to socialize and likes playing videogames and board games with others.
Julian (27, M). Julian works locally for an architecture firm. He is a designer, artist, and enjoys being outside and exercising.
Kevin and Julian are both respectful, quiet, clean, easy-going humans. This is a creative household. We are looking for roommates who have experience living with others or on their own, are respectful roommates, ideally working professionals, and share household responsibilities.
We are motivated to fill this slot before July 1st when our current lease expires. If you need more information or photos I can furnish them upon contact.
