Manufactures various pharmaceutical products in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures. Independently sets-up, operate, cleans, and maintains manufacturing equipment. Completes production records according to specifications.
-Independently sets-up, operates, maintains and adjusts manufacturing equipment to ensure proper product manufacturing, according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and batch records.
-Weighs and mixes ingredients for the manufacture of various products.
-Read, comprehend and complete the various manufacturing paperwork required for batch record processing, including labels, log books and production batch records
-Perform the math calculations required for batch processing using the metric system, such as determine loss amounts, process yields and account-abilities and reconciliations.
-Ensure that product is manufacturing according to established specifications. Visually monitor product, perform in-process product sampling/testing and analyze samples for quality. Maintain accurate sampling reports, manufacturing reports, cleaning logs and usage logs to ensure accountability.
-Cleans major and support equipment and machines, production processing rooms, storage rooms and general areas in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
-Assist in the training of new and current manufacturing personnel on Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, equipment, and processes.
-Responsible for maintaining qualifications and observing manufacturing personnel on equipment and processes, according to the written Training Plan.
-Monitors work area for safety hazards, and required to wear personal protective equipment as identified in the Safety Program, SOP's, and posted for specific areas.
-Write thorough and concise explanations in manufacturing documentation for any required corrections.
-Assist with new products with Pharmaceutical Development.
-Assists Pharmaceutical Development when problems occur with existing products.
-Assists Maintenance Department with new equipment.
-Evaluates equipment and operations, and recommends improvements to equipment or process.
