Did you replace your mailbox lock with a kit from the hardware store, and it does not quite fit ?
Postal locks are very specific, and to fit right, there is no universal kit.
City Lock stocks over 30 SPECIFIC postal box locks, including the current USPS Approved models.
Tip to save money if you lose your postal keys:
1. Find out when mail is being delivered to your complex.
2. Meet the letter carrier at the mailbox, and when they have the main door open, have them remove the clip holding the lock in place.
3. Remove the lock, get the brand name off the box using ( usually there is a plaque or label where the letter carrier inserts his key to open it all up, or name is on the trim around the edge of cluster.
4. Bring the lock and info on make to City Lock, and we can sell you the RIGHT lock, for do it yourself replacement. It is very very easy to replace.
