In the accompanying inventory, the 228+ separate items are categorized based on item type and how they were stored and used, either in main parts inventory or in a travel kit assembled for onsite visits to customer locations. Photos and a detailed list of all inventory items accompany this listing.
The cable connectors include a mix of male and female DB25, DB9, Centronics, and RJ45 connector types. The DB25 and DB9 solder connectors are fully populated with 25 and 9 pins, respectively. For the DB25 and and DB9 pin insertion connectors, a minimum of 2-3 pins are required and typically 5-7 pins are used to support 2-way hardware handshaking where needed. Apart from the completed cables included in this inventory, the 111 cable connectors, pins, hoods, and connector hardware should be more than sufficient for full fabrication of 86 hooded connectors, with dozens of leftover connectors, pins, and hardware.
This inventory is priced to sell at a significant discount from retail prices of individual connectors as listed on eBay. My preference is to sell this inventory in bulk rather than selling individual components at a higher price. In this regard, the finished cables and valuable cable fabrication and diagnostic tools are included as a sweetener to encourage marketability in bulk. But if you see items of interest, please message me about sale of anything less than the entire inventory. I will periodically update the inventory list to reflect what remains available.
Valuing this diverse and specialized inventory is challenging, but as illustrated in red by the accompnying inventory list, midpoint eBay list prices for the individual components suggest an aggregate retail value of about $915. However, an in-bulk sale is preferred and reasonable offers are encouraged and will be considered.
