We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join Elite Massage and Injury Rehab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga practices and the ability to educate and inspire students of all levels. This role involves creating a welcoming environment, designing engaging class programs, and promoting overall wellness through yoga.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and safe yoga classes for individuals of varying skill levels.
- Educate students on proper techniques, postures, and breathing methods to enhance their practice.
- Check in with students prior to class about any injuries, chronic pain points, or limitations.
- Check in with students prior to class about goals for their yoga practice.
- Be able to implement and tailor your planned yoga sequence to your students limitations and goals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate participants effectively.
- Help Elite create a supportive community atmosphere that encourages participation and growth among members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before and after classes.
- Work in a team setting (with other instructors and practitioners) to curate a seamless and efficient healing journey for students.
Requirements
- Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized program is required.
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Liability Insurance
- Previous experience teaching yoga in a group setting and one-on-one (minimum 1 year), preferred experience with chair yoga
- Ability to design effective yoga sequences tailored to individual needs and goals
- A passion for health, chronic pain, and helping others along their healing journey
Pay
- $40 per hour for each completed class (+$1 for every attendee)
