Sleek and sporty and priced to sell — I need it out of the garage!
A few minor scuffs across the top that I never knew where there and that you’ll never see once it’s mounted on your car’s roof. I tired to photograph them but they are hard to capture with the glossy reflection.
Otherwise it’s in great condition, we just don’t need it any longer. We’ve got more room in the back of the car since our dog passed away, and we’ve upgraded to a bigger car as well.
Features include low-profile aerodynamic design, felt-lined interior, integrated LED lights, and dual-sided opening. The Vector Alpine was Thule’s flagship low-profile premium line, retailing for $2000, but was phased out and replaced with the cheaper Motion 3 XL Low.
Thule quick clamps make tool-free installation a breeze and are compatible with a variety of different crossbar types. Locking mechanism is also well designed, you can’t remove the key when the box is unlocked, and you hear a solid click that tells you it’s all the way closed/locked.
Comes with both original keys. Both side locks do their job of locking and unlocking perfectly. Both lift hinges work perfectly. Both built-in LED lights work perfectly.
Also: There’s an oval “country code” Colorado sticker on the rear that I briefly tried to remove, but it didn’t want to easily come off so I didn’t force it. Probably best to cover it with an oval sticker of your choice, or a newer version of the same sticker.
Happy to help you mount it onto your roof racks, it’s very easy and only takes a few minutes.
