These sweet and versatile set of Volkl skis are tuned up and ready for the season. Owned by a casual elderly skier who only bought a four pack each season, but have not been skied on for the last two years. Just had them tuned up, so you don't have to worry about it. The wax has been left on to protect the skis while not in use. These skis have never had any major damage such as a core shot, blown edge, delamination. or separated edge. The few minor base scratches have been filled in with Ptex. All of the edges are straight and true.
The bindings are drilled, only once, for a 27/27.5 boot. So they could have enough room to adjust to a 26/26.5 or 28/28.5 boot as well, and possibly more, without having to be remounted. These are NOT the MNC or WTR type bindings, Alpine soles only.

Core: Multi-Layer Wood Core – Völkl freeskiing models feature a multi-layer wood core that features two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense, ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates more secure screw retention, preventing binding pull-out, and the soft, supple poplar section allows for resilience and snap. The flex pattern is tailored to each ski model, depending on the desired performance.
Laminates: Power Construction – Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Used in racing skis as well as all the freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and a smooth ride.
Powered by Titanium: A metal layer just under the topskin delivers dampness and power at speed.

The Salomon Z12 is a high performance, downhill, alpine binding. With a DIN setting from 4-12, this binding fits most adults. This value binding will give the skier high performance and is low to the ski for maximum terrain feedback.
The Vertical Progression Pivot gives the skier a controlled release for backward falls. The Z12 brings protection and confidence to gain speed and fun. The High Lateral Transmission allows for more precision and more control. The Automatic Wing Adjustment provides automatic adjustment just by stepping in. The extra long wings engage a boot better. These wings are confidence inspiring, easier to step-in in powder & provide more lateral power.
